Peeyush Pandit firmly believes that Gender Equality begins in the mind, it is an individual’s perception of treating another person at par with himself herself. It cannot happen in one day; it is more of a practice that we do every day. Gender Equality is not only a fundamental human right but a necessary foundation for a peaceful, prosperous and sustainable world.

Peeyush Pandit says celebrating Mother’s Day and International Women’s Day is meaningless if we do not understand the crux of the meaning of equality, it is something that we need to internalize, and reflect on in our actions as well.  Peeyush Pandit desires that all women and men, girls and boys to come together in achieving gender equality, it is the responsibility of every individual of the globe.Gender equality is achieved when women, men, girls, and boys have equal rights, conditions and opportunities, and the power to shape their own lives and contribute to the development of society. It is a matter of equitable distribution of power, influence, and resources in society.

• Promoting women entrepreneurship
• Supporting women empowerment
• Eradicating poverty
• Employment opportunities for all women
• Ending all forms of discrimination against all women and girls
• Eliminating all forms of violence against all women and girls in the public and private spheres, including trafficking and sexual and other types of exploitation
• Eliminating all harmful practices, such as child, early and forced marriage, and female genital mutilation
• Ensuring effective participation of all the women and equal opportunities for leadership at all levels of decision making in political, economic, social, and family life
• Promoting the use of technology, mass media, etc. to promote the empowerment of women
